There was an important hearing in the High Court regarding whether marital-rape is a crime or not, the judges of the High Court were not unanimous in this matter, in this case both the judges (Justice Rajiv Shakdher and Justice C Harishankar) did not reach an opinion. Justice Rajiv Shakdher ruled in favor of criminalization while Justice Harishankar disagreed.
